Why Mount A? While in high school, I came in
contact with the swim coach at Mount A through some other members
on my swim team. Aside from athletic opportunities, the Religious
Studies program offered at Mount A included a wide variety of classes
in traditions not offered at many other institutions.
What is your favorite place on campus? Music
Conservatory
Which superpower do you think would be
most helpful to have at Mount A? The
Dr. Manhattan character off of the Watchmen had this ability
to observe minute physical processes, which made human issues
and concerns seem of little importance in the in a universal
context. People should take life much less seriously, in my opinion.
Knowing you can do anything, what would you like to do? I’ll
just see where my life goes. Not knowing is the best part.
Who do you respect most? My swim coach in Yarmouth
What accomplishments are you most proud of? Mount
A Swim Team MVP.
How did you spend your summer vacation? I spent
my summer lifeguarding a waterslide at an amusement park. I guess
that position classifies as lifeguarding.
What quality do you most admire in someone? Inquisitiveness
If you could tell one thing to everyone, what would it
be? That’s a tough one! I’ll leave the dramatic
one-liners for politicians and movie stars.
What do you like most about Mount Allison? The
relationships that develop with your professors as you move into
your upper years. It’s nice to speak to someone so passionate
and knowledgeable about a subject you yourself are so interested
in.
What do you want to tell prospective Mount A Students? Mount
Allison has been such a great experience for me. When I’m
at school, it’s like I’m surrounded by people who look
at things just as I do. It's the only place I feel like that.
